Physical Therapist - Motion Analysis Center - Full Time

Shriners Children’s Northern California is nationally ranked for pediatric orthopedics, in partnership with UC Davis Children’s Hospital, by U.S. News & World Report Shriners Hospitals for Children-Northern California is currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to work in our Motion Analysis Center (MAC). This position is full-time and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $57.38 - $81.01/hour. Compensation is determined based on relevant experience and department equity.
Requirements
- Current CA Physical Therapist licensure (or eligibility) by the California Board of Medical Examiners
- CPR/BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of PT experience
- Pediatric experience
- PCS, OCS, or NCS
Responsibilities
- Perform state of the art physical therapy evaluation, coupled with 3D Motion Capture, in the evaluation and assessment of pediatric patients with complex movement difficulties.
- Provide clinical support by performing physical examinations, data collection and integration & interpretation of kinematic, kinetic, electromyographic, foot pressure, and clinical data into a comprehensive report for treatment decision making.
- Participation in gait and biomechanics research
- Providing education to the community and medical staff.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team in the development of evidence-based treatment planning for our patients.
- Work with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet the needs of the pediatric patients and their family.
