About The Position
Our private outpatient clinic in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist who enjoys practical, patient-focused care. You will work directly with individuals recovering from injury, surgery, or mobility limitations, helping them move better and return to daily routines with greater confidence. The position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, and a setting that allows time for thoughtful treatment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
- Active Florida Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain licensure before start
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform initial evaluations and ongoing reassessments
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s condition and goals
- Lead one-on-one therapy sessions using exercise-based treatment and hands-on care
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed
- Teach patients proper form, mobility strategies, and home programs
- Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
