About The Position

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs designed to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. This role requires advanced knowledge and practice level competencies, serving as a recognized clinical or workflow subject matter expert. Key responsibilities include developing workflows and clinical protocols or guidelines for the department. The Physical Therapist also acts as a resource for the education, training, and mentoring of other staff, and as a clinical instructor for assigned students, potentially coordinating staff education and student programs. Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is essential to ensure patient privacy and safety while delivering optimal care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy school
  • PT-Physical Therapist certification
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • DL-Valid Drivers License Class C or Class D (for Home Health)
  • AUTO-Automobile Insurance (for Home Health)
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience
