About The Position

The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of physical therapy in the state of Ohio. The patient populations a physical therapist on this team will serve, but are not limited to, general medicine and general surgery, observation patients, critical care, transplants, geriatrics and long-term care. Although team members report directly to a team leader, they are also responsible to each other, to those they supervise and to other participants included in the patient care activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in physical therapy.
  • All rehabilitation team members must be licensed or certified with the respective profession (physical therapy, and meet the educational and/or certification requirements established by their profession.
  • Physical therapists must hold bachelor's degrees.
  • All academic degrees must have been granted from an accredited institution.
