About The Position

Excel Home Nursing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain. You will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for individuals of all ages who are recovering from injuries or dealing with chronic conditions.

Requirements

Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients
Strong problem-solving abilities to develop effective treatment plans
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with acute care and hospital settings is a plus

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve strength, mobility, and range of motion
Provide manual therapy, including trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and promote healing
Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and injury prevention strategies
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
