About The Position

BSW Rehab in Midlothian is seeking a full time orthopedic physical therapist to join our team of 8 PTs and 2 OTs! We provide high-quality care to a wide variety of active adults with general orthopedic diagnoses, including post-surgical conditions, sports-related injuries, and work-related injuries. The ideal candidate will have solid manual therapy skills, be motivated, innovative, organized, autonomous, and eager to contribute to program development. This environment encourages clinician development including certifications and specializations depending on the passions of the clinician. Mentorship available and NEW GRADS ARE ENCOURAGED to apply!

Requirements

Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day
Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source
Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
Promoting continuous quality improvement
Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed
