Physical Therapist-weekend PRN

About The Position
Responsible for treating assigned patients including obtaining accurate prescription, reviewing charts adequately, evaluating patients and documenting according to policy.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
- Three (3) internships/affiliations satisfactorily completed.
- Twelve (12) weeks of clinical experience at a university-approved hospital.
- Current PT licensure by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
- Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
- Must obtain and maintain required ortho education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Joint Destination Center of Excellence Policy.
- Must obtain and maintain required stroke education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Primary Stroke Center/Acute Stroke Ready Designation Policy.
- Utilizes a variety physical therapy equipment to include ultrasound, electrical stimulation, whirlpool, iontophoresis, TEN's units, paraffin bath, fluidotherapy, Biodex, biofeedback, traction, and exercise equipment.
