Position Summary: The Physical Therapist , the ideal candidate will provide high - quality, evidence-based care to a diverse population with musculoskeletal conditions. This role involves evaluating, diagnosis, and implementing individualized treatment plans to restore function, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life. They work closely with the medical team including physicians, physical therapy assistants and ancillary staff to coordinate care for optimal patient outcomes. Requirements

• Graduate of an approved program for physical therapy - required.
• Fully licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Nebraska and / or Iowa - required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days of hire.
• Any Orthopedic experience as a Physical Therapist required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to instruct and collaborate with others.
• Strong team orientation.
• Ability to accomplish multiple tasks and prioritize activities.
• Displays flexibility and adaptability to provide patient education regarding their specific physical therapy treatment needs.
• Ability to problem solve with patients, team and other departments within OrthoNebraska.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing.
• Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality clinical care and customer service
• Establish goals and treatment plans in collaboration with the patient, family members and healthcare team.
• Provide treatment services to restore, maintain or improve patient functions.
• Promote and advance the hospital's vision to be the BEST through department initiatives and community outreach.
• Develop and enhance the vision of the department with an emphasis on growth and program development.
• Promote collaboration with referring physicians.
• Offer clinical instruction to physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students.
• Must be able and willing to collaborate with others as demonstrated by good listening skills, honest and respectful communication, and engaging in the process of reaching consensus when making decisions.
• Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
