About The Position

Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics PRN Per Diem Location: NovaCare in Washington, DC Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri) Compensation: $50 - $55 /hour NovaCare in Washington, D.C., is seeking local PRN Physical Therapists to join our outpatient orthopedic teams. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. We have additional clinicians on staff at each location, averaging 10-12 patients per day. You must have at least one year of treating OP ortho to be considered. Center Hours: Weekdays as early as 7 A.M. until 8 P.M. The last patient is scheduled an hour before close. You’ll treat a diverse patient population across conditions such as: General Orthopedics Sports Injuries Oncology (ReVital) Vestibular and Concussions Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) ACL Rehabilitation & Fall Prevention Programs Why Work With Us? Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
  • Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • CPR certification
  • You must have at least one year of treating OP ortho to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional rehabilitation: evaluate, treat, direct, and document
  • Stay compliant with state, local, and federal regulations
  • Communicate openly with colleagues, patients, families, and physicians
  • Participate in team meetings
