About The Position

A Full-time (40 hours) Physical Therapist , (PT/RPT), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Montrose, NY.  Beautiful building with great rehab team!   Facility located on a beautiful campus along the Hudson River in Upper Westchester County. Owned and operated by the NYS Department of Health, this facility has a 252 bed capacity, serving both long-term and short-term Veteran residents. Therapists will perform evaluations, treatments, patient/family education & caregiver training while collaborating with a diverse and friendly multi-disciplinary team. Our rehab department is a close knit community of supportive coworkers and supervisor, providing therapy services to Veterans and their families of the Lower Hudson Valley. The Veterans served us, it's our turn to serve them! SNF experience is preferred. Requirements

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Physical Therapy license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting.
