Requirements

  • Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey
  • Strong patient assessment or evaluation skill
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical abilities, medical histories, and conditions to create individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop tailored rehabilitation plans based on patient needs, goals, and medical conditions.
  • Teach and guide patients through exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function.
  • Use various methods like manual therapy, modalities (heat, cold, electrical stimulation), and other techniques to alleviate pain.
  • Educate patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and ways to prevent further injury or pain.
  • Regularly track patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress reports for legal, insurance, and healthcare purposes.
