About The Position

AmeriStaff Nursing Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to provide in-home therapy visits to patients throughout the Metro Detroit area, including the City of Harper Woods and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to deliver meaningful one-on-one patient care while maintaining a flexible schedule. As a Physical Therapist with AmeriStaff, you will play an important role in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence while receiving care in the comfort of their homes. This is a contingent home visit position that offers autonomy, flexibility, and competitive visit-based compensation.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current, valid, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of Michigan
Minimum one (1) year of Physical Therapy experience
Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Provide skilled physical therapy services during in-home patient visits across the Metro Detroit area
Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety practices
Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
Ensure compliance with all clinical standards, documentation requirements, and HIPAA regulations
