Physical Therapist (PT) Now Recruiting: School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) 📍 New Castle County, DE 🗓 2026–2027 School Year 💼 Full-Time | W2 Hourly | School-Based ⚠️ Employment contingent upon contract award SOS Personnel is seeking an experienced School-Based Physical Therapist to support students ages 0–22 across Christina School District programs, including comprehensive schools, early education centers, and specialized programs serving students with mild to severe disabilities. This is an opportunity to practice true educationally relevant physical therapy — collaborating directly with IEP teams to help students access their education. Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • Active Delaware PT License
  • 2+ years preferred in school-based setting
  • Strong IEP writing skills
  • Experience with complex physical and medical needs

Nice To Haves

  • ASL knowledge a plus (for statewide programs)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct PT evaluations and standardized assessments
  • Develop PLEPs, IEP goals, and benchmarks
  • Provide therapy services in school and itinerant settings
  • Document in district SIS and support Medicaid billing
  • Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and families
  • Serve students across a continuum of needs
