About The Position

MOTION PT Group, a proud member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a Physical Therapist. The MOTION Lefferts Gardens clinic is described as having a spacious interior with large windows and plentiful natural lighting, ample treatment tables, and private rooms available for treatment. It boasts a welcoming and rehabilitative space where the staff is warm, caring, and eager to assist patients on their roads to recovery. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday) with a schedule that includes early shifts on Mon, Wed, and Fri (8-hour shifts with flexible start times) and late days on Tue and Thurs (flexible start times with coverage until 6–7 PM); the schedule is partially flexible and will be reviewed further during the interview process.

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
  • Passion for evidence-based, patient centered care
  • CPR and first aid certification required
  • Must be a licensed Physical Therapist with prior clinical experience in any setting, with demonstrated experience treating both adult and pediatric populations; NO New Grads.

Responsibilities

  • Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
  • Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
  • Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
  • Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
  • Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.
