The role requires performing comprehensive evaluations, establishing and revising measurable treatment goals, adapting programs based on patient age, diagnosis, and welfare, and designing adaptive devices. Key responsibilities also include teaching patients and families, maintaining thorough documentation, communicating with physicians, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and engaging in professional development. The Physical Therapist will also serve as a Clinical Instructor for Physical Therapy/Therapy Assistant Students and supervise Rehabilitation Technicians and Aides.
