PHYSICAL THERAPIST
About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Union General Health System. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of medical conditions, including orthopedic and sports injuries, geriatric rehabilitation, and other physical impairments. Your primary goal will be to help patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence through the use of manual therapy, exercise, and other rehabilitation techniques. At UGHS, all of the therapies are heavily utilized and relied upon for expertise, professionalism and optimizing exceptional outcomes for patients.
Requirements
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Specialization in neurologic or geriatric rehabilitation
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
- Additional certifications/specialization are appreciated
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy and exercise-based interventions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in physical therapy
