Physical Therapist (3 month temporary coverage)

SportsMed Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist to handle a 3 month temporary leave at either our Garfield, NJ or Passaic, NJ locations. SportsMed Physical Therapy is a leading outpatient physical therapy practice in the Northeast. We are a multidisciplinary practice, which allows us to provide high-quality comprehensive care for all patients that we treat. Requirements
- New Jersey Physical Therapist License
- Computer Literacy
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Responsibilities
- Accurately evaluate, diagnose and treat patients, both physician referrals and direct access.
- Assess each patient and develop appropriate rehabilitation goals.
- Maintain high levels of communication with other service providers such as Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, and Occupational Therapists to ensure quality patient care.
- Complete notes thoroughly and within a timely manner to ensure that collaborative care is maintained between other therapists.
- Work towards the advancement of the clinic by maintaining clinical excellence through various CEUs.
- Participate in monthly meetings led by the Clinic Director and Office Manager to identify challenges within the clinic to address and improve clinic flow.
- Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.
