About The Position

TeleMed2U is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join their growing fully virtual care team. This role provides 100% telehealth physical therapy services, focusing on evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic exercise instruction, and patient education across a variety of musculoskeletal and functional conditions. The ideal candidate is experienced or comfortable delivering physical therapy in a virtual setting, is patient-focused, and can effectively guide and motivate patients through remote care.

Requirements

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
Active, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in CA.
Strong patient communication and coaching skills
Comfort using digital tools, video platforms, and EHR systems
Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice To Haves

Telehealth or remote care experience preferred (training provided if needed)

Responsibilities

Conduct virtual physical therapy evaluations and follow-up visits via secure telehealth platforms
Assess movement, function, mobility, and pain through patient-guided examination techniques
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans appropriate for virtual delivery
Provide therapeutic exercise instruction, mobility training, and functional movement coaching
Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as clinically indicated
Educate patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, posture, ergonomics, and self-management
Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in the EHR
Collaborate with referring providers and care teams as needed
Adhere to clinical guidelines, payer requirements, and telehealth best practices
