About The Position

Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Primarily in Rehab, but some crossover to Inpatient therapy is possible.

Requirements

• Physical Therapist bachelor degree with 5 years of experience OR Master's/Doctorate degree acquired from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program
• Current State of Michigan licensure. Will consider those who will be licensed within 30 days of applying.
• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross. obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred candidates will have experience and/or certification in a specialty area: lymphedema, vestibular rehab or pelvic floor PT. New graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and on-going assessments of patients' conditions.
• Establishes, revises, and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of each patient.
• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
