Requirements

Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
Valid certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS).
Additional certifications such as Wellness Coaching, Clinical Exercise Physiologist, or Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality healthcare to patients, focusing on physical therapy.
Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients and develop comprehensive plans of care.
Provide treatment to patients, setting measurable and functional goals.
Educate patients about treatment options and home exercise programs.
Supervise aides and monitor patient progress.
Focus on pain management as a key aspect of patient care.
Determine appropriate discharge timing and educate patients on proper mechanics and strategies.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient care.
Achieve a reasonable level of productivity, contributing to the clinic’s success.
Participate in research studies and contribute to the development of treatment protocols.
Provide input on clinic policies, procedures, and strategic planning.
Address patient feedback and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
Stay current with the latest physical therapy research and techniques for ongoing skills development.
