Competitive salary and benefits Work life balance - No weekends, paid holidays, birthday holiday and NYS paid sick time Opportunities for professional development and continuing education A supportive and inclusive work environment The Physical Therapist will work as a member of the Physical Therapy service line within the OrthoNY Medical Practice consisting of Orthopedic, Spine, Sports Medicine and Pain Management physicians. Our new state of the art clinic in Wilton, NY offers integrated care in one convenient center that includes physical therapy, imaging, sports medicine, and an orthopedic injury clinic.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic setting preferred however, new graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Current unrestricted New York State Physical Therapy license;
  • Experience with a wide range of patient age groups and diagnoses;

  • Time management and organization capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions with patients, colleagues, physicians, and all visitors to the practice;
  • Performs comprehensive patient evaluations and develops individualized plan of care in an energetic outpatient physical therapy setting;
  • Provides hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education to support optimal recovery;
  • Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed to ensure positive outcomes;
  • Collaborates with patients and colleagues, including Physical Therapist Assistants, to provide cohesive and well-coordinated care;
  • Maintains accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in the EMR in accordance with regulatory and practice standards;
  • Supports a positive clinic environment by contributing to team morale and patient experience
  • Other responsibilities as designated by the manager.
