SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Physical Therapy Supervisors, provides quality physical therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities. A Physical Therapist performs evaluations and treatment in an outpatient clinical setting at our main campus, 2790 Clay Edwards Drive. Experience with pediatrics preferred or a willingness to be mentored into this program to support our pediatric services, which is between 10-25% of the caseload. We manage a pediatric population from birth to teenager with a focus on developmental delay issues. The remaining 75% of the caseload of adults includes basic musculoskeletal and the candidate will help support our Move Plus program. We will train in this program, which is well established with strong outcomes. Schedule to be either 5-8 hour days with ending time being 6 or 6:300 p.m. or 4-10 hour days, again with ending time being 6 - 6:30 p.m. Off day will be determined at time of hire. Candidate will be required to work 1 day to support acute care for a holiday or a holiday weekend and cross-training will be provided in advance and in conjunction with role as this is based at our hospital-based outpatient clinic. Candidate will appreciate 1:1 care in our outpatient setting, assuring focused care on each patient served.
