Requirements

  • A current, valid Physical Therapist (PT) License in the state of California.
  • A passion for geriatric rehabilitation and a team-first mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Assessment: Evaluate resident needs and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans to restore mobility and independence.
  • Patient-Centered Care: Provide high-quality physical therapy treatments in accordance with physician-approved plans.
  • Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate closely with nursing, speech, and occupational therapy teams to provide a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
  • Leadership: Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and contribute to the training of restorative staff.
  • Professional Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including evaluations and progress notes, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
