In this role as a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. As a Physical Therapist you will also utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. While in this position you will assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. This is a PRN (as needed) inpatient PT role that works a variable schedule to cover the needs of the department. It does offer a PRN % differential on base pay. Our PRN team rotates weekend cover (1 every 4 weeks). This role can float between Penrose Hospital and St Francis InterQuest location.

Requirements

• Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
• Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, preferred
• Current Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist required
• BLS through the American Heart Association required
• Dry Needling Certification or Education preferred
• Only required if performing the Dry Needling function: Dry Needling Certification or Education.
• Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly
