About The Position

Muir Orthopaedic Specialists, OrthoNorCal and Webster Orthopedics have joined forces to become Golden State Orthopedics & Spine (GSOS). Now, GSOS represents one of the largest orthopedic surgical practices in the Western United States. With more great doctors and clinics in 13 cities across the bay area, we offer the same innovative and compassionate care as always. Currently, GSOS is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team. New and Experienced Therapist are welcomed! As part of our Physical Therapy team, we offer New Grad's a Mentorship program. Learn from our senior PTs on everything from evaluation and treatment of complex diagnoses. Mentorship includes case study reviews, hands on training, and participation in our patient care conferences to review treatment plans. In Santa Clara, our clinic is conveniently located within the same building as our Sports Medicine Physicians and Orthopedic Surgeons, featuring a shared waiting area that fosters a strong collaborative bond between our rehabilitation team and the referring Physicians. Notably, Dr. Saglimbeni in our Santa Clara clinic serves as the team doctor for the SF 49ers, SF Giants, San Jose Earthquakes and works with the some of the top Universities in the area. This position will be a split with four days working in the Santa Clara clinic and one day working in a local college training room or working as a PT for professional team coverage. We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team and work alongside our Physicians to treat these elite athletes of the Bay Area.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited PT program
  • Licensed in the state of California

Nice To Haves

  • Outpatient Orthopedic experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Performing Physical Therapy Evaluations
  • Performing Physical Therapy Treatments
  • Directing patient care
  • Supervising with active participation of PTAs and non-licensed providers
  • Supervising patient progress and re-evaluate appropriately
  • Coordinating with physicians and other practitioners for patient issues.
