About The Position

At St. Anthony Hospital, the Therapy department consists of approximately 70 caregivers who treat adult patients across various specialties including trauma, neurological, cardiac, orthopedic, and general medicine therapy. Therapists are cross-trained between inpatient rehab and acute settings, with acute setting therapists also being ICU trained. The team is committed to excellence, making a significant impact on patients' lives, and supports growth opportunities, with several therapists holding board certifications. The department emphasizes evidence-based care and continuous education, fostering a challenging yet productive environment to achieve the best patient outcomes. In this Physical Therapist (PT) role, the individual will provide a continuum of services to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders. This includes mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy, and neuromuscular reeducation. The PT will utilize the rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being for patients and is expected to assume personal accountability for the organizational mission and core values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Current Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist required
  • BLS through the American Heart Association required
  • Dry Needling Certification or Education required (Only required if performing the Dry Needling function)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
  • Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, preferred
  • Dry Needling Certification or Education preferred
