Requirements

  • Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality therapy services to patients while fostering positive relationships with facilities and clients, in alignment with Reliant Rehabilitation standards and physical therapy best practices
  • Perform patient screening and evaluation
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct discharge planning
  • Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs
  • Manage cases
  • Uphold professional conduct and comply with all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy
  • Maximize patient function and independence through direct and supervised physical therapy
  • Provide clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
  • Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during individual and group treatments, ensuring efficient resource use and skill development
  • Establish and grow a robust physical therapy program
  • Advance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education
  • Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on industry trends and healthcare regulations
  • Understand billing models and deliver care aligned with treatment guidelines and expected outcomes
  • Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Maintain confidentiality as appropriate and ensure compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed
