About The Position

We are looking for a skilled Physical Therapist to work between four of our hospitals. Locations are in Van Nuys, Valencia, Santa Monica & Lancaster CA. Most of the time you will be at one facility for at least a month at a time, definitely at least a week. You will never have to go to mulitiple facilities in the same day. This will be a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and work with a wide array of different therapists in different settings, this position will really set you up to be a Lead PT or Director down the road. You will plan physical rehabilitative programs to impove patient quality of life. Requirements

Physical Therapist Licensure in good standing in California
CPR and first aid certification required
California License as a Physical Therapist or ability to obtain license.
AHA BLS certification

Responsibilities

Reviewing patients medical history
Provide excellent 1:1 care for your patients, spending an average of 40 minutes with each person
Diagnosing patients by observing their movements and listening to their concerns
Developing individualized treatment plans for patients with clear goals and expected outcomes
Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on manual therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
Recording patient progress and modifying the plan of care as needed
