About The Position
Adelphi is seeking a qualified, licensed Physical Therapist to provide contracted, on -site and/or teletherapy physical therapy services for a public school district in Ruidoso, New Mexico. The Physical Therapist will support students with physical therapy needs by providing direct services, conducting evaluations, participating in IEP development, and collaborating with district special education staff in accordance with New Mexico licensure requirements and district policies.
Requirements
- Current and valid New Mexico Physical Therapy license
- Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Experience providing school -based physical therapy services
- Ability to provide in -person and/or teletherapy services as assigned
- Resume reflecting relevant school -based experience
Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Conduct educational evaluations and prepare written evaluation reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and student assistance team meetings
- Collaborate with school personnel and families to support student mobility and access
- Provide consultation, training, and supervision as requested by district administration
- Maintain detailed case notes and service documentation
- Ensure services comply with state and federal regulations
- Utilize district -approved technology platforms for teletherapy (if applicable)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
