Provides skilled physical therapy services to patients with impairments or disabilities. Plans, implements, and evaluates therapy programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence.
Requirements
Doctorate or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Physical Therapy.
Current state license in good standing.
Knowledge of PT principles and practices.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Effective time management.
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Work in healthcare and long-term care facilities.
A Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
A current and valid state license to practice Physical Therapy is required and must be maintained in good standing.
Nice To Haves
Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation preferred.
Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
