About The Position
Our Outpatient Rehab Clinic in Storrs, CT offers an opportunity to collaborate with surgeons performing state of the art robotic surgical care! This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse orthopedic population that offers a wonderful team atmosphere with experienced clinicians and some of the best orthopedic physicians, nurses and physician assistants in New England! Specialty programs in this clinic include Balance & Falls (Safe Steps), Complex Spine, Dry Needling, Hand Therapy (CHT), Chronic Pain Management and Sports Medicine. A clinically competent Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for planning, assessing, interpreting and implementing treatment programs according to the need of age specific categories of patients and as medically prescribed for our inpatient and/or outpatient patients. Effectively interacts and communicates with patients, families, and other health team members, according to the principles, ethics, practices and standards of professional therapy practice. Requirements
- Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Open to new graduates
- Current State of CT Physical Therapy license required or active temporary license at time of hire
