Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
- BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and care teams
- Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and function
- Educate patients and caregivers on home-based therapies and equipment use
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to ensure optimal recovery
- Prioritize daily caseloads and coordinate staff handoffs when necessary
