About The Position

Position Overview:Staff Physical Therapist provides evaluation and treatment to a variety of complex in and outpatient diagnoses. Supervises daily professional patient related activities of Physical Therapist Assistant and Physical Therapy Aides. Communicates Physical Therapy goals and patient information to physician, hospital staff, and agents of reimbursement.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
Current California Physical Therapy issued by the Physical Therapy Board
Current Basic Life Support Certification

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
One (1) year of professional experience with both in and outpatient areas of an acute care hospital preferred, including pre-graduate clinical internships
Previous Skilled Nursing experience (OVCH)
Additional Board Specialty Certification(s) by the APTA
