About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Physical therapist to join our practice in Auburn, MA. We are looking for full-time, part-time, and per diem Physical Therapists with outpatient orthopedic PT experienced preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply. On a day-to-day basis, we offer the challenge of a varied caseload ranging from seniors to post-surgical cases to high level athletes. We also provide specialty services such as Pilates, dry needling, vestibular therapy, amputee rehab, and aquatic physical therapy.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
PT license in MA

Responsibilities

Outpatient Orthopedic PT
Patient Consultation-review health and medical histories, exam patients, review pertinent medical records/imaging, and reason for visit
Consult with referring Physicians/Healthcare teams regarding diagnosis if needed
Develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs
Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques to include exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, modern modalities, and activities of daily living
Compose discharge notes for patients, refer to appropriate outside sources, as necessary
Patient education on the benefits of PT, treatment plan maintenance, and home exercises
Documentation/progress notes- accurate and timely records, document treatments rendered in patient charts, Record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit
Collaboration with the other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
Communicate effectively with both the staff and patients
Create an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude
