Requirements

• Graduate of an APTA‑approved Physical Therapy program
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license (state of Indiana)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Dependable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Willingness to travel within the regional Muncie coverage area
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the day

Responsibilities

• Champion Elara Caring’s mission, vision, and care philosophy
• Deliver direct, hands-on patient care and evaluate functional needs
• Create and implement individualized care plans that drive real outcomes
• Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other specialists
• Maintain high standards of therapy practice and documentation
• Provide leadership, education, and community-facing physical therapy support
• Work in an active, high‑engagement environment
• Lift, support, and transfer patients as needed (up to 50–100 lbs)
• Travel within your coverage area (approximately 50%)
