About The Position

Under general supervision, provides direct care to patients with physical disabilities and/or functional limitations in clinic, inpatient, outpatient and outreach programs. Provides physical therapy evaluation, consultation and intervention services for assigned routine to complex patients, in accordance with Connecticut Children’s patient care delivery model and program policies and procedures. Collaborates with patients, families, other health care team members and community resources to implement and coordinate a continuous plan of care, and to educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods. Participates in assigned staff development and research activities. Connecticut Children’s is the only health system in Connecticut that is 100% dedicated to children. Responsibilities

  • Provides direct care to patients with physical disabilities and/or functional limitations in clinic, inpatient, outpatient and outreach programs.
