About The Position

BSW Rehab North Arlington is seeking a physical therapist with a special interest in oncology to join our team full time. We provide high-level care to a wide variety of active adults with general orthopedic diagnoses, including post-surgical conditions, sports-related injuries, and work-related injuries, and are looking to expand the BSW Rehab ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program into our center. The ideal candidate will have solid manual therapy skills, be motivated, innovative, organized, autonomous, and eager to contribute to program development. The environment encourages clinician development including certifications and specializations depending on the passions of the clinician. Mentorship available and NEW GRADS ARE ENCOURAGED to apply! Shift hours are variable and the clinic hours are: 7 AM – 6 PM, Monday – Thursday and 7 AM – 1 PM on Friday, early and/or late shifts are required. Seize the opportunity to join our highly trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program team, which provides rehabilitative services to help improve the quality of life for people affected by cancer. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating our diverse patient population. ReVital is an innovative oncology rehabilitation program offered exclusively by Select Medical. Our vision is to establish comprehensive cancer rehabilitation as a standard of care for people affected by cancer. Our network of 900+ specially trained, multidisciplinary therapists work closely with oncologists and people affected by cancer to create personalized rehabilitation plans.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
  • Current Physical Therapy State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • CPR required

Nice To Haves

  • Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience (student rotations considered)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
  • Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing PTs
  • Complete and maintain required trainings
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations
  • Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients
