About The Position

LifeFit Physical Therapy and Wellness is a concierge-level practice created to bridge a gap we saw in traditional healthcare. Many patients receive care that addresses only part of their problem or are discharged once they are “good enough,” even if they haven’t returned to the activities they love. We are looking for an energetic, compassionate, and knowledgeable orthopedic physical therapy provider that is looking to use the full breadth of their clinical skill set and implement wellness-based care. Our clinic offers hour-long, 1:1 treatment sessions, with a creative mix of manual therapy, exercise and functional movement training, pain science education, and lifestyle education. At LifeFit, we believe in expanding beyond the typical reactionary health care world into the preventative health and wellness realm. We are focused on providing the best possible care for our patients and providing a valuable service to the Hampton Roads community. Our mission is to empower people to be active, strong, and independent through specialized orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapy combined with a wellness-forward approach. Whether you’re a new grad looking for the right place to start or an experienced PT ready to leave the mill model, LifeFit Physical Therapy & Wellness was built to offer something different. This position does include on-site mentorship, continuing education reimbursement, and a supportive environment for you to thrive and treat patients with your full skillset with minimal limitations of insurance. Unlike many private practices, our providers do not perform their own marketing or networking - we want you focusing on being an amazing provider for your patients!
