About The Position

At NovaCare Rehabilitation in Frederick, Maryland, we take pride in delivering an exceptional patient experience. We are seeking a full-time physical therapist passionate about treating orthopedic, aquatic, and sports-medicine patients. Our Thomas Johnson Court location features advanced equipment, including a Swim-X therapy pool and an Alter-G anti-gravity treadmill. The average caseload is 10-12 patients per day, and we welcome new graduates with on-site mentorship available to support professional growth. These pathways include opportunities for specialization and advancement, supported by monetary incentives. Schedule: Full-time, 40-hour workweek with two evenings until 6:30 PM. No weekends. Patient Care Model: One-hour evaluations (one-on-one) and 45-minute treatment sessions. Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
  • Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Complete and maintain all corporate and clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations
  • Evaluate, treat, direct, and document treatment for patients
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members and third-party payors
  • Attend/participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager
