We offer relocation reimbursement to support your transition. This is an inpatient position within the Saint Francis/St. Mary's Hospitals Rehabilitation Services Department. The Staff Physical Therapist (Physical Therapist 2) reports to the Clinical Supervisor and provides both direct and indirect patient care services. The Staff Physical Therapist works primarily with adult and geriatric patients from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. A Staff Physical Therapist with specific pediatric competencies and clinical experience may also work with infants, children, and/or adolescents. Under general direction and upon receipt of licensed approved provider written referrals, the Staff Physical Therapist plans and administers a full range of physical therapy services for patients with a variety of physical and cognitive impairments and disabilities. Services include: Patient evaluations using physical therapy tests and measurements Establishment of therapeutic intervention goals Development and implementation of therapeutic intervention programs utilizing physical therapy interventions, modalities, and procedures The Staff Physical Therapist demonstrates practice competence in managing patients of varying clinical acuity and complexity. They may seek mentoring for novel clinical presentations or areas of specialty practice in which they are not yet experienced or certified.
