About The Position

Miller Street Therapy Clinic is located in Wenatchee, WA and is part of Confluence Health. We have a therapy team of PTs and OTs, and enjoy one-on-one 45 minute appointments with our patients. Working with us will mean that you are joining a team with a wide range of clinical knowledge, including orthopedics, neurologic, vestibular, post-op rehab, pelvic therapy, hand therapy, and lymphedema. There is opportunity for mentorship for new therapists and those wishing to expand their practice area. Summary Up to $5,000 in sign on bonus & $2,500 after one year Must be an external applicant. A Physical Therapist provides professional services in diagnosing disorders and providing therapy for patients with musculoskeletal or neurological impairments. This includes evaluation of all assigned/scheduled patients, the development of treatment plans, administration and implementation of the treatment program, and appropriate discharge planning.

Requirements

  • Active or interim WA State Physical Therapist License, required by start date.

  • One year of outpatient physical therapy experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial evaluation including history of prior level of function, subjective information, objective tests and measures, assessment (including discharge disposition recommendation in acute setting), and establishment of plan of care and goals for future treatments.
  • Incorporate evidence based clinical decision making to select and utilize appropriate patient interventions in accordance with plan of care, and modify plan of care as appropriate based on patient progress/response to interventions.
  • Follow best practice for clinical documentation.
  • Maintain patient safety, modesty and privacy/confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide education to patients, caregivers and other staff members as appropriate to include adaptive equipment and recommended safety precautions.
  • Provide supervision and guidance as needed to Physical Therapy Assistants and rehabilitation aides.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members including physicians, case managers, nurses, and other therapy staff, including participation in discharge planning in inpatient settings.
  • Screen for and make referrals to other disciplines when indicated.
  • Required to maintain current BLS certification.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.
