Your Impact As a Physical Therapist at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy, you will: Empower Children to Thrive – Help children enhance their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life through personalized therapy plans. Deliver Expert Care – Assess, diagnose, and implement targeted interventions to support children with physical, developmental, and neurological challenges. Collaborate with Families – Provide education, guidance, and home program strategies to ensure progress continues beyond therapy sessions. Innovate and Adapt – Develop and modify individualized treatment plans to align with each child’s evolving needs and goals. Work as a Team Player – Partner with physicians, educators, and healthcare professionals to create a cohesive and supportive care plan. Advocate for Resources – Assist in obtaining necessary equipment and tools to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Maintain Excellence in Care – Document progress, ensure compliance with standards, and uphold the highest level of patient-centered service.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy culminating in the receipt Bachelors, Master’s or Doctoral Degree.
  • Certified by the National Physical Therapy Examination Board (NPTE).
  • Possesses a valid Michigan state license in Physical Therapy.
  • Active & Engaged Work – Kneeling, bending and playing at ground level.
  • Hands-On Support – Lifting up to 50+ lbs may be required.
  • Quick Reflexes – Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.
  • Loud or Noisy Environments – Working with active children in dynamic settings.
  • Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids – Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.
