FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Center in Cliffside Park, NJ is seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapists to join our team of professionals in Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN roles. Requirements

  • DPT from an accredited program
  • Current New Jersey state PT license
  • Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
  • Must have self-motivation with a willingness to learn and treat all physical therapy modalities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • 1+ years of experience in the field is preferred, but we will consider new graduates

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish speaking is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
  • Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations
  • Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date
  • Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises, track progress
  • Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
  • Examine and evaluate new patients
  • Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
  • Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
  • Measure and track intervention effectiveness
  • Educate the patient on continuing care
  • Other duties as assigned
