Requirements

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.
Experience working with pediatric patients preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping children achieves their goals.
Knowledge of pediatric assessment tools and treatment modalities.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
Educate families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
Stay updated on best practices and advancements in pediatric physical therapy.
Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities.
