About The Position

About the Role: As a Part time Virtual Physical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert physical therapy services to patients in a virtual setting. This position offers the flexibility of working on an as-needed basis, allowing you to balance other commitments while making a significant impact in patients' lives.

Requirements

Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy.
Proficiency with telehealth platforms and technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a variety of clinical settings.
Additional certifications or specializations in physical therapy.
Bilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

Conduct Virtual Assessments: Evaluate patients' physical conditions and needs through video consultations.
Develop Customized Treatment Plans: Create personalized rehabilitation programs to address patients' specific needs and goals.
Provide Virtual Therapy Sessions: Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring effective delivery of exercises and therapeutic techniques.
Monitor Patient Progress: Regularly assess and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about the therapy process, exercises, and wellness strategies.
Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Maintain Professional Standards: Adhere to all relevant regulations, ethical standards, and best practices in virtual physical therapy.
