About The Position

MercyOne Wellness Center Physical Therapist: FT Day Shift (80 hrs/biweekly) Position Purpose: provides physical therapy evaluations and treatments to appropriate patients to facilitate their return to prior level of functioning as prescribed by physician. What you will Do: Administers treatment techniques competently. Conducts patient assessment. Develops treatment plans for patients. Develops initial assessment in SOAP-note form utilizing appropriate documentation tool (700/701 forms). Provides education to patients and families. Supervises students and volunteers. Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures. Requirements

• Bachelor degree: Physical Therapy
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Iowa.
• BLS.
• Mandatory Reporter
• Ability to communicate effectively with treatment team, supervisors, peers, patients and families.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and the ability to be flexible.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
