About The Position

ROMTech is a medical device company dedicated to advancing rehabilitation through innovative technology. We conduct pilot programs and IRB-approved studies in collaboration with physicians, hospitals, and health systems to improve outcomes and expand access to cutting-edge rehabilitation solutions. ROMTech is seeking a Part-Time to support our pilot programs and IRB studies. The individual in this role will help design clinical protocols, provide treatment for patients enrolled in studies, and collaborate with internal teams and external healthcare leaders. This is a unique opportunity for a clinician with an interest in research, innovation, and forward-thinking rehabilitation strategies.

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (active license, in good standing).
  • 3–5 years of clinical experience required
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation protocols and patient outcomes tracking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present effectively to physicians, executives, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset with interest in advancing new models of care.

Nice To Haves

  • prior research or pilot study experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing codes and reimbursement processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine clinical protocols for ROMTech pilot programs and IRB studies.
  • Deliver therapy to a variety of pilot patients while maintaining compliance with study requirements.
  • Collaborate with the research team to monitor outcomes and ensure data quality.
  • Brainstorm and recommend innovative clinical approaches, including potential billing code applications for pilot populations.
  • Represent ROMTech in meetings with physicians, hospital administrators, and C-suite leaders to demonstrate clinical value and study benefits.
  • Contribute to forward-thinking initiatives, serving as a clinical innovator within the organization.
  • Maintain compliance with IRB protocols, HIPAA regulations, and professional standards of care.
