About The Position

Are you a licensed Physical Therapist looking for a unique opportunity to work a set schedule for inpatient and outpatient care? Alton Memorial Hospital has a full time opening for you! Come work with a dynamic/multidisciplinary team and a caseload of ortho, neuro, and general medicine outpatient. Primarily outpatient setting with only intermitted inpatients; w/e rotation is included. 9-530 M-Th and 7-330 Friday currently New grads welcome CEU Budget and Sign-On Bonus Overview Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family, Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more. Alton Memorial Hospital's Rehabilitation Services is called, 'The Human Motion Institute'. The Human Motion Institute's rehabilitation team includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapist Assistants and Occupational Therapists Assistants. Role Purpose Provides skilled physical therapy services to patients including all aspects of evaluation and treatment.

Bachelor's Degree - Physical Therapy (PT)

Responsibilities

Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs; expected discharge functional status; and appropriate equipment and supplies.
Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
Delegates to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions to best meet the needs of the patient.
Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Physical Therapy Services.
