About The Position

Managing a single high-volume clinic or hub, where you will focus on strategic planning, personnel development, and training programs. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in ensuring the success of the clinic and the professional growth of your team. KEY RESPONSIBILITY & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Patient Care: - Identify short- / long-range physical health issues; develop/recommend comprehensive individualized physical therapy treatment programs - Perform physical therapy treatment programs and document patient progress/status; administer manual exercises; instruct / assist patients in performing physical therapy activities - Obtain / study medical histories, document patient and clinic records - Interview patients; understand patient medical history; assess physical health; examine as needed - Educate / counsel patients; explain treatment plans; promote physical health and wellness - Provide evidence-based physical therapy treatments, discharge planning, and outcome tracking according to established company standards; perform treatment programs; document patient progress; administer manual exercises; instruct / assist patients in performing physical therapy activities - Work as part of an integrated health team to provide / ensure continuity of care; develop patient care management plans - Comply / ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, and infection control protocols and policies - Develop physical therapy team staff; provide training and educational / growth opportunities - Maintain professional / technical knowledge - Review professional journals; establish personal network; participate in educational workshops and professional associations - Collaborate with clinic staff to recommend / improve patient care practices, clinic guidelines, and workflow - Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations - Maintain required continuing medical education (certification / licensing) and professional development The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Requirements

  • Intermediate individual contributor in a professional role. Works independently within an established framework, receiving detailed instructions only on new assignments. Possesses specialized knowledge and skills required to perform the role. Applies practical knowledge, learned theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to difficult but non-complex, conventional assignments. Majority of work efforts are focused on meeting objectives related to implementation or delivery of processes, programs, and/or policies.
  • Builds productive internal and external working relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree or additional role-relevant experience. 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program (doctorate preferred)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Current, unrestricted physical therapist license to practice in Texas
  • AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card
  • Advanced interpersonal and counseling skills
  • Advanced verbal / written / listening communication skills
  • Strong deductive / inductive reasoning and observation skills
  • People- and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; adaptability; flexibility
