About The Position

We are hiring a Physical Therapist at the Sentara Therapy Center King and Queen in Shacklesfords, Virginia. This is a multi-site position, so candidates should be flexible to work in different offices including Gloucester and Mathews. This is a Full-Time, Day shift opportunity with GREAT BENEFITS!!! As a Physical Therapist, you will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Level Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapist License.
• Master's or Doctorate Level Degree preferred.
• 1-year experience required for Resource Pool applicants.
• Must obtain Direct Access certification within one year of hire for those with a BS or MS degree (for Hampton Roads Outpatient facilities only).

Responsibilities
